Hank Holmes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Holmes counters with a head kick. That will keep Batista thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Batista's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Holmes connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Batista scrambles back to his feet.

Holmes pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Batista back to the ropes. Holmes follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

David Michael Batista's cut is getting worse.
Batista tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Holmes was well out of range. Poor timing from Batista.
Holmes lands a nice hook to Batista's body. Batista takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Holmes ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Batista moves away.
