Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Damien Edna and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
nixonn is looking to clinch but Demar is avoiding it.
nixonn throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Demar's waist but Demar gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing nixonn off to one side.
Demar shoots and misses
and nixonn counters with a nice double leg into side control. Demar won't be happy with that.
nixonn has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
nixonn pushes Demar up against the cage in a clinch.

nixonn jumps into guard, dragging Demar to the mat.

nixonn misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

and nixonn counters with a shoot takedown. Demar fights it but they end up in guard.
nixonn gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

nixonn bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
nixonn works his foot free and advances to mount.

nixonn lands a big shot there that rocks Demar but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
nixonn is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Demar can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

nixonn is landing with some decent strikes but Demar is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

nixonn has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

nixonn is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Demar to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Demar shrugs it off.

Demar gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows nixonn to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Demar takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

nixonn explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
nixonn feints and then cracks Demar's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Demar down.

nixonn has clasped his hands together around Demar's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
