Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alessio Meridio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sirak Jules (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Meridio comes to the cage accompanied by All That Reamins - The Air I Breathe. Alessio Meridio could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Sirak Jules's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alessio Meridio! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sirak Jules! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Meridio fails to land with a series of punches.
Meridio tries to clinch there but Jules circles away.
Meridio throws a right and a left that both miss. Jules fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Meridio, pushing him back against the cage. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Meridio is trying to break free. Jules missing with knees to the body.
Meridio wants a takedown but no success here.
Meridio escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Meridio drives through and clinches with Jules against the cage.
Jules pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Meridio tries to work over Jules's front leg with a kick but Jules checks it. Jules closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Meridio did well to prevent Jules getting side control. Jules is keen to just control but Meridio is a slippery customer. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jules trying to mount his opponent but Meridio defends it. Jules seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Jules decides to stand up. Meridio circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jules has closed the distance and engaged Meridio in a clinch.
Meridio wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
The referee calls for Jules to work.
With the fighters up against the cage, Jules throws an elbow but misses. Meridio jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jules walks away with a smile on his face. Meridio gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Jules throws a sloppy head kick and Meridio moves out of range easily. Jules closes the distance and pushes Meridio back into the cage. Jules has Meridio pressed against the cage, preventing Meridio from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Meridio jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jules walks away with a smile on his face. Meridio gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alessio Meridio. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jules takes the fight into the clinch. Jules tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Meridio can't break the clinch.
Jules breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Meridio tries to clinch up and Jules counters with a nice leg kick. Jules feints and then cracks Meridio's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Meridio down. Meridio defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jules. Meridio darts in trying to clinch and Jules counters with a one-two to the body. Jules looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Meridio! Jules can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Meridio is looking to escape. Meridio is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jules trying to control but he's not successful this time. Meridio working to try and regain half guard.

Meridio is squirming around, avoiding Jules's attempts to control the action.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Jules prevents Meridio from getting the reversal. Jules looking to control and managing it successfully. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Meridio tries to hold on but Jules pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sirak Jules dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Jules has taken the fight to the clinch.
Meridio letting Jules take a breather here. Meridio pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Meridio is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jules's half guard. Meridio controlling the pace. Meridio prevents Jules from standing back up.
Meridio has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Meridio in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
That's one minute gone in the round. Meridio raining down hammerfists from mount. Meridio looking to finish Jules with some ground and pound. This is bad for Jules! Jules is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Jules is breathing heavily. Meridio looking to ground and pound but Jules is blocking nicely. Meridio working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Jules looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Meridio! Submission of the night perhaps?
