Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edd Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Goran Reljic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Goran Reljic will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Edd Stone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Goran Reljic! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reljic is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Reljic looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Reljic scores with a head kick. Stone tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Stone shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Reljic is trying to defend but Stone finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Stone seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Reljic for as long as he can get away with. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Reljic on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Stone content to control rather than advance. Stone wants to work for an arm triangle but Reljic is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Stone decides to return to a standing position. Goran Reljic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stone throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Reljic was covering up waiting for the punch and Stone finishes the takedown easily into guard. Stone looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stone stands and steps away. Reljic gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Stone instigates a clinch. Stone pulls guard. Stone has his feet on Reljic's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Reljic throws a head kick that misses. Stone shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stone decides to stand and escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Stone gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. A head kick misses from Stone. Reljic shoots and misses and Stone counters by moving into the clinch. Stone lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Stone keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Stone decides to return to a standing position. Stone misses with an uppercut. Stone decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Stone has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reljic is just holding on here. Stone manages to take his back.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stone is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Edd Stone dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Stone closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Stone is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Stone has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Reljic takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Stone wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Reljic, who protects the arm well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone cracks Reljic with an elbow. That is naaassty. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Stone is trying to get an arm triangle but Reljic is defending well. Stone could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Stone decides to stand back up. Stone closes the distance and clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stone has Reljic pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Reljic manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Still in the clinch, Stone scores with a nice short uppercut. Stone stalling.

Stone scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Stone moves nicely into side control. Reljic seems a little lost for a moment, as Stone dominates the positioning.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone stands up and beckons Reljic to his feet. Stone tries to score a power double leg takedown but Reljic sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Stone somewhat. Reljic plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Stone gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Reljic tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Stone's elbow. Stone lands a nice uppercut. Stone has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Reljic is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Edd Stone. That's going to take a lot out of him. Reljic looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Reljic with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Reljic tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Stone avoids it. Reljic has had enough of the clinch but Stone keeps him there for the moment. Stone is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Reljic pulls him back up using the underhooks. Reljic swings wildly with an uppercut but Stone uses good head movement to avoid it. Stone wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Reljic tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Stone avoids it. Stone manages to break the clinch.
Stone fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Reljic manages to avoid it. Reljic wants to clinch and Stone counters by clinching up. Stone manages to break the clinch.
Reljic plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Reljic tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Stone holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Edd Stone dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Stone stands up and waves to Reljic to follow him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reljic tries for a takedown but Stone circles away easily and Stone cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Stone pushes Reljic up against the cage in a clinch. Reljic looking for a takedown. Stone turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Stone manages to end up in side control. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Stone wants to control but Reljic is keeping him busy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stone tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Stone has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reljic seems a little lost for a moment, as Stone dominates the positioning. Stone is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Reljic can do to turn this around? We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Stone is chipping away with strikes.
Reljic tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone trying to control the action but Reljic is working from the bottom. Stone has control of an arm but Reljic manages to advance to Stone's back! Reljic doesn't have the hooks in and Stone manages to turn into his guard.
Stone gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Edd Stone is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Stone rushes Reljic and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Reljic is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Stone is keeping busy. Reljic tries to break the clinch but Stone is controlling the position. Reljic missing with knees to the body.
Stone tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Reljic smiles and moves away.
Reljic tries to keep at a distance but Stone has taken the fight into the clinch. Reljic tries to circle away but Stone has him pinned against the cage. Reljic stops a takedown attempt from Stone.
Stone ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Stone no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Stone managing to control the position. Goran Reljic has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Edd Stone is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Stone might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Reljic scoring with some ground and pound.
And that's the end of the fight! Edd Stone showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Stone, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
