Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Mcpeeny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Patton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Patton is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mcpeeny pulls his head out easily.

Patton is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The fighters are battling for position here. Patton manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Mcpeeny creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Patton's defenses.

Mcpeeny stalks Patton and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Patton's face. Patton staggers backwards, shaken.

Patton looks to land a combination. Mcpeeny sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
James Mcpeeny is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Patton accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Mcpeeny here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Patton has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

James Mcpeeny is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to James Mcpeeny.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mcpeeny, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
