Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Duke Richard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Trevor Leszczynski!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Glass and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leszczynski wants to clinch but Richard slips to the side

and Richard counters with a takedown into side control.
Richard is staying tight to Leszczynski's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Richard stands up.
Leszczynski looks to land a left hand but Richard moved out of range nicely.
Leszczynski lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
A jab lands there for Leszczynski.

and Richard counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Richard shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Leszczynski's guard.

Richard slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
