Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phil DeBlunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gim Allon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). DeBlunt comes to the cage accompanied by Westside Connection - Bow Down. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Phil DeBlunt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gim Allon! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A swing and a miss from DeBlunt. Allon takes a shot right to the bread basket. Allon throws a hook to the side of DeBlunt's head but DeBlunt sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. DeBlunt misses the jab. Allon misses with a few strikes there.
DeBlunt misses with a wild body shot. Allon lands with a nice combination. DeBlunt backs away looking to recover. DeBlunt lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. DeBlunt swings for the body but Allon moves out of range.
Allon looks to throw the jab but DeBlunt is out of range. Allon avoids the body shot from DeBlunt.
DeBlunt misses the shot to the body. DeBlunt swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Allon throws a nice looking combination but DeBlunt bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. DeBlunt misses with a hook to the body
and Allon counters with a series of strikes. DeBlunt will be more careful next time no doubt. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Allon tries to move into range but DeBlunt moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Allon shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. DeBlunt defends it nicely. Allon misses with a lunging right hand
and DeBlunt counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Allon thinking.
That's one minute gone in the round. Allon uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by DeBlunt.
A shot to the body from DeBlunt misses and Allon counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for DeBlunt! DeBlunt is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
DeBlunt tries to hold on but Allon pushes him away. DeBlunt keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The referee warns DeBlunt that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Allon looking to control and managing it successfully. Allon breaks from DeBlunt's wrist control and lands an elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! DeBlunt is desperately trying to improve his position but Allon has a good base and remains in mount. Allon controlling from the full mount. Allon trying to control but he's not successful this time. Allon with shots to the head and body - DeBlunt looks very uncomfortable down there.
It looks like Phil DeBlunt has been cut. Allon connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Allon throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for DeBlunt because Allon loaded up on that one. Allon punching from mount but DeBlunt doing a good job of avoiding damage. Allon jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but DeBlunt manages to avoid the submission attempt. Sloppy strikes there by Allon.
That's three minutes gone in the round. DeBlunt takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. DeBlunt is trying to control Allon's posture but Allon avoids it. Allon throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Allon trying to control the action but DeBlunt is working from the bottom. DeBlunt is looking to regain half guard here but Allon keeps moving and retains side control. An elbow from Allon crashes against the mat.
Allon working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Allon is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. DeBlunt knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Allon trying to control the action but DeBlunt is working from the bottom. Allon in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... DeBlunt is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
