Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, John Spiderman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Frank Tyson! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tyson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Tyson lands an elbow that stopped Spiderman in his tracks for a moment. Spiderman avoiding damage as Tyson throws knees to the body.
Spiderman takes an elbow to the temple.
It looks like John Spiderman has been cut. Tyson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Spiderman walks away with a smile on his face. Tyson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Spiderman looks to land a combination but Tyson avoids it well. Some wild striking there from Spiderman.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Spiderman misses with a series of wild punches.
Spiderman takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Tyson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Tyson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Spiderman walks away with a smile on his face. Tyson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Tyson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Spiderman scores with a body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. No joy there for Spiderman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Spiderman throws a series of punches but Tyson avoids them all with ease. Tyson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Spiderman fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Spiderman throws a combination that misses and Tyson counters with a solid body kick. Spiderman throws a series of strikes that have Tyson backpedaling.
Spiderman fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tyson manages to avoid it. Spiderman is breathing heavily. Spiderman throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Tyson counters with a stiff right hand. Tyson moves in looking to clinch but Spiderman pushes him off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spiderman throws a shot to the body.
Tyson ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Tyson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Spiderman paws at him with a jab and circles away. Spiderman lands with a nice combination. Tyson backs away looking to recover. Spiderman stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Spiderman wants it to stay on the feet. John Spiderman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Tyson. Tyson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Tyson fails in his attempt to clinch. Spiderman takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Spiderman avoids a punch combination nicely.

Tyson is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Tyson shoots in for a double leg but Spiderman sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Spiderman misses with a wild combination.
Tyson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Spiderman has time to react.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tyson closes the distance and clinches. Tyson has Spiderman pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Spiderman manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Tyson working aggressively here.
Tyson pushes off an throws an elbow but Spiderman leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Tyson lands with a short head shot on the inside. Tyson throws an elbow that misses.
Tyson is trying desperately to land a takedown but Spiderman is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Tyson. Tyson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Spiderman just stands there and leans against the cage. Tyson scores with a knee to the head.
Tyson scores with a shoulder strike. Spiderman has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tyson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tyson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A momentary lapse in concentration from Spiderman enables Tyson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Spiderman manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Spiderman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tyson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Tyson is looking to stand up but Spiderman won't let him. Spiderman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tyson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tyson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Spiderman is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Spiderman looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Spiderman looking for a guillotine here but Tyson defends easily.
Tyson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Tyson wants to stand but Spiderman has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Tyson gets to his feet. Spiderman looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Tyson gets a clinch. Tyson using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Spiderman takes an elbow to the temple. A short right from Tyson on the inside. Tyson lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Tyson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Tyson keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Spiderman's efforts to push away. Tyson lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Tyson tries a knee to the head but Spiderman blocks it.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Tyson is trying to keep Spiderman in close.
Spiderman drops back looking for a leg! Tyson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tyson manages to kick Spiderman off! Spiderman jumps back into Tyson's guard. Spiderman might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Spiderman passes Tyson's right leg, so he's now in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Spiderman prevents Tyson from getting back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Spiderman passes into half guard. Spiderman is looking for a kimura but Tyson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Spiderman to get the leverage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tyson makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Tyson closes the distance and clinches. Tyson stalling the fight.
Spiderman is trying to break the clinch but Tyson has him pressed against the cage. Tyson tries to pull guard but Spiderman holds him up against the cage and eventually Tyson drops back down to his feet.
Tyson lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Tyson pulls guard. Tyson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Tyson wants to stand up but Spiderman is controlling him. Spiderman passes into half guard. Tyson kicks off Spiderman and gets to his feet.

Tyson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Spiderman is trying to defend but Tyson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Tyson is trying to control the action in half guard but Spiderman is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Spiderman regains full guard. Nicely done. Spiderman wants to stand up but Tyson is controlling him. Tyson wants to stand and escape but instead Spiderman has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Spiderman drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Spiderman seems to have locked his on tight now - Tyson screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Spiderman, as he picks up the win!
