Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dani Kamarainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Markus Perttunen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Dani Kamarainen has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dani Kamarainen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Markus Perttunen! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Kenichi Hosakawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Perttunen tries to clinch up. Kamarainen stuffs the takedown attempt from Perttunen. Perttunen gets slowly back to his feet. Dani Kamarainen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Perttunen fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Perttunen. Kamarainen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Perttunen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Perttunen is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kamarainen defends it well. Kamarainen is trying to stand back up but Perttunen is controlling him

Perttunen takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Perttunen is looking for a kimura here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Perttunen throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Perttunen not landing any meaningful shots this time. God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Perttunen is taking a breather. Kamarainen says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kamarainen throws a right hand that Perttunen ducks under and follows up with a left that Perttunen also avoids with ease. A slow jab from Kamarainen misses its intended target. Perttunen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kamarainen as he jumps to the side. Perttunen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Kamarainen wants to stand but Perttunen is controlling the position. Kamarainen keeping full guard, as Perttunen tries to pass. Kamarainen keeping moving, preventing Perttunen from controlling successfully. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Markus Perttunen hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Perttunen fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Sloppy strikes from Kamarainen. Those never looked like landing. Kamarainen with a hook.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Perttunen throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kamarainen stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Kamarainen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Perttunen sees it coming and avoids it easily. Perttunen looks for a takedown but Kamarainen sprawls well. Dani Kamarainen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Markus Perttunen. Kamarainen looks to land a combination but Perttunen avoids it well. Dani Kamarainen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Perttunen takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Perttunen shoots in looking for a takedown. Kamarainen tries to sprawl out of it but Perttunen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kamarainen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Kamarainen defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Perttunen. Kamarainen takes a swing at Perttunen's ribcage but misses. No luck with that takedown attempt from Perttunen. Perttunen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kamarainen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Perttunen tries to close the distance and clinch but Kamarainen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Kamarainen wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Perttunen ducks under a wild hook from Kamarainen. The fighters circling - Kamarainen throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Perttunen misses with a head kick.
Perttunen shoots in but Kamarainen avoids the takedown attempt easily. Kamarainen jabbing away but nothing is landing. Perttunen tries to clinch up but Kamarainen circles away and keeps his distance. Perttunen walks into a left hand. Dani Kamarainen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Perttunen looks to land a combination. Kamarainen sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Kamarainen jabs Perttunen right on the nose. Perttunen blinks but takes it well. Kamarainen throws a hook but Perttunen avoids it easily. Perttunen closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kamarainen circles away. Kamarainen connects with a single shot there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Perttunen slips a jab and a cross from Kamarainen.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Perttunen is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Kamarainen is defending well for now. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Perttunen keeps control of Kamarainen as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. That was a close second round but I would say that Dani Kamarainen will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kamarainen tries to get out of the position. Perttunen stands up and waves to Kamarainen to follow him. Kamarainen lands a glancing blow to the side of Perttunen's head. Kamarainen scores with a nice head shot. Perttunen on the wrong end of a nice hook. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Perttunen darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Kamarainen wants to get back to his feet.

Kamarainen throws a series of punches but Perttunen avoids them all with ease. Perttunen throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kamarainen tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Perttunen is in Kamarainen's guard. Perttunen stands and steps away. Kamarainen gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Kamarainen waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Perttunen. A shot to the liver by Kamarainen. Beautiful body shot. Perttunen lands a jab to the nose. Perttunen defending well as Kamarainen loads up on a big left hand. Perttunen ducks under a wild hook from Kamarainen. Kamarainen is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Perttunen lands with a shot to the body. Perttunen fails with a takedown attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Perttunen jabbing away but nothing is landing. Perttunen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kamarainen tries to avoid it but Perttunen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kamarainen to the ground. Kamarainen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Dani Kamarainen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Markus Perttunen. Kamarainen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Perttunen sees it coming and avoids it easily. Kamarainen keeps the fight on the outside. Perttunen on the wrong end of a nice hook. Perttunen takes one on the button. Left hook, right uppercut from Kamarainen. Kamarainen throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Perttunen drives through and clinches with Kamarainen against the cage.
Kamarainen has had enough of the clinch but Perttunen keeps him there for the moment. Kamarainen stops a takedown attempt from Perttunen.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kamarainen wants to break free but Perttunen has control.

And that's the end of the fight! Markus Perttunen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Perttunen has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
