Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Siduri Rafter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams has chosen All the Above- Maino ft. T-Pain as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rafter rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Williams cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Rafter misses with a lunging right hand
and Williams counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Rafter misses with a left hand and Williams counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Siduri Rafter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rafter misses with a right hand and Williams cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Williams is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Rafter throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Williams counters with a stiff right hand. Rafter swings widly with a right hand
and Williams counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Siduri Rafter has been cut. Rafter lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Rafter throws an off balance right hand
and Williams counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Rafter throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Williams to counter with a crisp jab. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rafter swings widly with a right hand
and Williams counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Williams feints a jab promting Rafter to slip. Williams then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Rafter slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Rafter tries for a takedown but Williams circles away easily and Rafter takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rafter with a poor takedown and Williams connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Williams misses with a body kick. Williams is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Rafter had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Williams throws a head kick but Rafter moves out of range.

and Williams counters with a flying knee. Nice. Rafter throws an off balance right hand
and Williams counters with a body kick that stops Rafter in his tracks momentarily. Rafter throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Williams tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Rafter is in Williams's guard. Williams avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Williams is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rafter pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Williams is keeping the position for now. Rafter trying to control but Williams is working from the bottom. Rafter might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Williams is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Rafter is controlling him.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Williams bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Rafter's head backwards. Rafter shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Rafter wants to free his trapped foot but Williams is holding on for dear life with his legs. Rafter thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Williams's head. Rafter tries to pass to full mount but Williams defends it. Rafter is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rafter putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Rafter takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Williams is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Rafter wants to control the pace but Williams is squirming around nicely. Rafter is landing with some decent strikes but Williams is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rafter looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Rafter can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Williams is looking to escape. Williams in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paul Williams dominated that round. The cut man is working on Siduri Rafter's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Rafter misses with a left hand and Williams makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Williams has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Rafter looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Williams waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Rafter. Williams paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Rafter misses with a shot to the body and Williams counters with a stiff right hand. Rafter fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Williams sprawls well initially but Rafter persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Rafter stops Williams from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Williams keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Williams is staying active underneath Rafter, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice strikes from Rafter there. Williams is looking to escape. Rafter trying to control from half guard but Williams is working away. Williams avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Rafter. Rafter misses with a head shot. Williams uses the momentum to regain guard. Williams avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Williams has momentary wrist control but Rafter slips an elbow through the middle. Rafter trying to control the position from guard on top but Williams is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Williams really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rafter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rafter trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Rafter pushes down on Williams's leg and manages to get into half guard. Williams tries to kick Rafter off but Rafter keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Rafter passes to full mount! Rafter thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Williams is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

A nice elbow there by Rafter. Rafter controlling from mount. Williams wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

and Williams counters by moving into the clinch. Williams pushes Rafter back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Rafter tries for a takedown. No joy.
Rafter jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Williams walks away with a smile on his face. Williams throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rafter stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Rafter misses with a shot to the body and Williams counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Rafter throws a lazy uppercut
and Williams counters with a nice body shot. Rafter looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Rafter misses with a left hand and Williams makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Rafter really felt that one! Williams scores with a punch to the head. Williams connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Rafter has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rafter there as he acknowledges the shot.

and Williams makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Rafter really felt that one! This has been an exciting period of action! Rafter doesn't succeed with the takedown letting Williams counter with a right hand. Williams misses with a body kick. Williams dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Rafter walks forward, straight into a front kick from Williams. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Williams, right into the meat.
Williams connects with the punch. Williams lands a head kick. Rafter smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Rafter is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

enabling Williams to counter with a crisp jab. Williams lands a head kick. Rafter smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Williams thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Rafter if he has to take too many more of those.

and Williams counters with a nice low kick that buckles Rafter's knee momentarily. Williams with a jab. Williams throws a head kick that half lands.

and Williams counters with a nice body kick.
Paul Williams is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Williams goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Williams wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Williams plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Rafter has his takedown stuffed and Williams finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Williams lands a nice looking body kick. Williams thuds his shin into the meat of Rafter's side. Williams throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
And that's the end of the fight! Paul Williams comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Williams has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
