The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gene shoots in for a takedown but Gracie shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Gene feints and as Gracie raises his hands in defense, Gene changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Gene must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Gene connects with a superb combination that knocks Gracie out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Gene before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Gracie!
