The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from K R.
K R tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Silva was well out of range. Poor timing from K R.
Silva smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Silva digs a good hook to K R's body.
Silva connects with a nice looking jab.
Silva fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. K R looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
K R avoids the body shot from Silva.

Silva scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Silva connects with a nice looking jab.
Silva throws a nice looking combination but K R bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Silva lands a nice hook to K R's body. K R takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
K R is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
K R gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Silva gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
