Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Up Loaded (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Ellagrande (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Loaded comes into the arena with BOOOOOT!!! blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Paul Tew and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loaded throws a shot from downtown. Ellagrande moves away and avoids it.
Loaded fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Loaded looks to score with a jab to the body but Ellagrande is just out of range.
Up Loaded seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Loaded chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ellagrande can pounce on him.
Ellagrande misses with a few strikes there.
Loaded misses with a kick to the body
and Ellagrande counters with a nice double leg into side control. Loaded won't be happy with that.
Ellagrande throws a strike aimed at the side of Loaded's head but Loaded avoids it well.
Ellagrande is working Loaded over with some ground and pound from side control.
Loaded is trying to improve his position.
Ellagrande lands a few punches from side control.
Loaded on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Loaded tries to get out of the position.
Loaded is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Loaded manages to get back to half guard.
Loaded is not content to let Ellagrande control the position.
Loaded trying to control but Ellagrande postures up.

Loaded avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Ellagrande.

Loaded wants to improve his position but Ellagrande is controlling well.
Ellagrande wants to free his trapped foot but Loaded is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Loaded tries to roll over but Ellagrande keeps him under control.
Ellagrande is keen to just control but Loaded is a slippery customer.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
An inside leg kick from Loaded misses.

and Ellagrande counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Loaded blocks an elbow strike from Ellagrande.

Ellagrande goes for a takedown attempt but Loaded pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Loaded fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ellagrande looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Ellagrande looks gassed!
Loaded feints a jab promting Ellagrande to slip. Loaded then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Ellagrande slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like Brandon Ellagrande has been cut.
Loaded looks for the body kick but Ellagrande saw that one coming.
Loaded rushes Ellagrande and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Loaded lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Ellagrande is rocked!
Loaded creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Ellagrande with a big uppercut! Ellagrande tries to clinch up but Loaded pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Ellagrande to the mat! Ellagrande covers up and Loaded unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Up Loaded!
