The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nicatina throws a half hearted mid kick.
Fredrick looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Nicatina lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Fredrick thows a body shot but no joy.
Nicatina throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Fredrick pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Fredrick throws a low kick but Nicatina moves out of range easily.
Nicatina scores with a jab to the body.
Fredrick looks gassed!
Nicatina cracks Fredrick with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Nicatina has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Fredrick to stand back up!
It looks like Stan Fredrick has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nicatina jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Fredrick tries to clinch but Nicatina is having none of it.
Nicatina connects with a body shot.
Nicatina misses with a low kick.
Nicatina misses with a hook.
Nicatina closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Nicatina lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Fredrick has Nicatina pressed against the cage, preventing Nicatina from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Nicatina escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fredrick walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Fredrick limp body while Nicatina jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nick Nicatina!
