Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sabu Farhat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shaun Conway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Conway's choice of entrance music: Amazing - Kanye West. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sabu Farhat! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shaun Conway! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Bruno Hogan and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Conway shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Farhat but Farhat pushes him off and we're back to square one. Conway shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Conway wants to pass the guard but Farhat is keeping the position. Farhat keeping moving, preventing Conway from controlling successfully. Conway tries to free his leg and advance position but Farhat is retaining full guard. Farhat has momentary wrist control but Conway slips an elbow through the middle. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Conway stands up and waves to Farhat to follow him. Farhat is looking to clinch. Conway staying out of range there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Farhat displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Sabu Farhat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A big left from Farhat misses. Conway is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Farhat rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Conway moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Some wild striking there from Farhat.
Farhat is looking to clinch but Conway is avoiding it.
Farhat misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Conway moves into range and clinches up with Farhat. Conway ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Conway no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Farhat wants to pass the guard but Conway is keeping the position. Conway keeping moving, preventing Farhat from controlling successfully. Conway pulls Farhat in to control the position. Farhat drops back, looking for a kneebar! Conway looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Conway looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Conway! Farhat is breathing heavily. Farhat tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Conway stands up. Farhat misses with the combination.
Conway shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Farhat defends it nicely. Conway shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Farhat is trying to defend but Conway finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Still in half guard, Conway seems content to control. Conway stands up out of the half guard. Conway fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Farhat sprawls well initially but Conway persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Conway stalling. Farhat might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Conway is working for a kimura but Farhat is defending it quite comfortably.
Conway controlling the action here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shaun Conway dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Conway circles away from the clinch attempt and Conway counters by clinching up. Farhat drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Conway gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Conway utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Conway lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Conway lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Conway content to control rather than advance. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Conway is working for a submission of some sort.
Conway is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Farhat! Conway controlling the position easily from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Conway is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Farhat can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Conway cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Conway has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Farhat's face.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Conway looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Conway with a couple of short strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shaun Conway showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Conway shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Conway stands and steps away. Farhat gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Farhat throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Conway counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Conway. Conway pushing down on Farhat's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Farhat looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Conway trying to mount his opponent but Farhat defends it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Conway controlling the action here. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Farhat wants to improve his position but Conway is controlling well.
Conway is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Shaun Conway hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Conway looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Conway rushes Farhat and presses him up against the cage. Conway manages to pull guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Conway is on top in guard.
Farhat wants to control the position but Conway says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Conway moves nicely into side control. Farhat is trying to escape the position but Conway is controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Conway's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Conway is chipping away with strikes.
Conway blocks the strikes from Farhat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Conway scoring with punches from side control. A lull in the action here. Conway decides to stand up, so the ref orders Farhat to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Shaun Conway comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Conway winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
