Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, George Kazamier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Martin McSorley!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Donatello Bradman and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McSorley throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Kazamier drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Kazamier controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Kazamier trying to control but McSorley is working from the bottom.
Kazamier sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Kazamier pushes down on McSorley's leg and manages to get into half guard.
McSorley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kazamier. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
McSorley pushes Kazamier off but Kazamier dives into side control.

Kazamier decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Kazamier jumps into guard, dragging McSorley to the mat.
McSorley wants to control from the top but Kazamier keeps moving.
Kazamier is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Kazamier manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. McSorley manages to get himself to full guard.
Kazamier stands and throws McSorley's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Kazamier stands up and we're back to a striking position.
McSorley looks gassed!

McSorley gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kazamier to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Kazamier slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Kazamier postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Kazamier closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Kazamier stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows McSorley to get to his feet.

Kazamier darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
McSorley wants to stand back up but Kazamier manages to pass into side control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Kazamier has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of McSorley's body.

Kazamier is looking for the choke from the back position but McSorley is controlling his hands well.

McSorley tries to get to his feet, scrambling wildly. Kazamier sees the opportunity and transitions to an armbar that forces McSorley to tap. Impressive finish!
