Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jai Gun!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jacob Tyrant!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gun buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Gun doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Tyrant counters with a lovely straight right hand!
The fighters circle momentarily. Tyrant darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Gun throws a sloppy head kick and Tyrant moves out of range easily.
Tyrant misses the jab.
Gun looks to clinch
and Tyrant counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Gun takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Gun misses with a takedown
and Tyrant cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Gun is rocked!
Tyrant leaves Gun with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jai Gun. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tyrant dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Tyrant jabs at Gun's body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tyrant drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Gun right on the button. Gun goes down! Tyrant follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Tyrant gets the win via TKO!
