Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Fang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bogs Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fang has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Marcus Fang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bogs Reyes!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reyes shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Reyes is trying to work for a kimura but Fang is defending well.
Reyes sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Fang defending well though.
Fang is breathing heavily.
Reyes content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Fang blocking the ground and pound attempt from Reyes.
Reyes sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Reyes has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

That's one minute gone in the round.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Bogs Reyes.

Reyes gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Reyes has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Fang regains guard immediately.
Reyes is pushing down on Fang's leg trying to pass to half guard. Fang is fighting to maintain full guard but Reyes has managed to sneak the leg through.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Reyes takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Ground and pound from Reyes.
Reyes looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Reyes winds up and cracks Fang with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Reyes keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Reyes uses his free foot to push down on Fang's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Fang.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Reyes sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Fang knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Reyes on the ground.
Fang in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Fang takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Reyes tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Reyes scoring with strikes but Fang is staying in there.

Reyes working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Fang turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Reyes off and cradles Fang's limp body as Reyes celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Bogs Reyes!
