Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ren Katsurou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Choo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Katsurou's entrance music is Coheed and Cambria - Devil in Jersey City. A fine choice. Ren Katsurou had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ren Katsurou!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 2, fighting out of Sydney, Daniel Choo!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Donatello Bradman and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Katsurou throws a body punch but Choo moves out of range.
Choo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Katsurou.
Katsurou works the jab nicely.

Choo feints and as Katsurou raises his hands in defense, Choo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Choo throws a strike but Katsurou rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Katsurou won't allow Choo to sweep him here.

Katsurou throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Choo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Katsurou rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Choo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Choo takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
