5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Frankie Edgar! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parker scores with a takedown into Edgar's guard. Parker trying to control the position from guard on top but Edgar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Edgar preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. and Edgar counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Parker cracks Edgar with a right hand to the side of the head. Edgar ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Edgar swings for the body but Parker moves out of range.

Frankie Edgar has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Parker with a lazy takedown attempt and Edgar counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Edgar. Parker pulls Edgar in to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Edgar seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Edgar looking to pass the guard. Parker looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Parker misses with a takedown attempt and Edgar counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Edgar perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Parker wants to control but Edgar is keeping busy.

Parker closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Edgar tries to roll over but Parker keeps him under control. Parker missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Edgar is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Parker's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Parker's back! Edgar avoiding Parker 's attempts to control his hands. Edgar keeps control of the position as Parker tries to break free.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

A close second round but Frankie Edgar will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

It looks like Frankie Edgar has been cut. Parker gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Parker keeping full guard, as Edgar tries to pass. Edgar stopping the sweep attempt from Parker. Parker is working hard here to advance position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Edgar trying to control but Parker is working from the bottom. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Edgar might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Parker kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Frankie Edgar hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Parker with a lazy takedown attempt and Edgar counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Parker! Edgar content just to control the position here. Parker tries to hold on but Edgar pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Edgar tries to control but Parker wriggling away. Parker blocking the ground and pound. Edgar tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Edgar is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Parker is surviving well by controlling Edgar's body position as best he can. Edgar can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Parker is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Parker is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Parker on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Parker tries to get out of the position. Parker really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Edgar looking to control but Parker is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Frank Parker has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Frankie Edgar is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
