Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raymond Squire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Raymond Squire! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryan Dixon! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dixon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Dixon throws a sloppy head kick and Squire counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Ryan Dixon has been cut. Squire misses with a lunging right hand
and Dixon counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dixon fakes the leg kick and cracks Squire in the body. A decent looking body kick lands there for Dixon. Squire takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Ryan Dixon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Squire is breathing heavily. A head kick misses from Dixon. Squire misses with a low kick. A head kick misses from Dixon.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dixon tries to score with a low kick but Squire moves his leg out of the way. Dixon connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Dixon lands a jab.
It looks like Raymond Squire has been cut. Dixon thows a body kick. Squire tries to catch it but that hurt him. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Squire takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Both fighters circling a little - Dixon finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Dixon moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dixon lands a big head kick that sends Squire tumbling to the mat! Dixon takes a step backwards and waves Squire back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Squire is rocked! Dixon fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Dixon thumps Squire with a low kick. Squire tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Dixon lands a big right hand that sends Squire crashing to the mat! Dixon stays standing though and waves Squire back to his feet! Dixon sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Squire's defenses. It connects perfectly with Squire's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ryan Dixon!
