The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Alyssa Summers and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peruzzi scores with a sloppy right hand. Mcdonald should have avoided that one.
Mcdonald throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Peruzzi counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Mcdonald closes the distance and clinches up with Peruzzi, looking for a takedown. Mcdonald pushes Peruzzi against the cage but Peruzzi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Mcdonald misses with a combination
and Peruzzi counters with a two punch combo.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Peruzzi enables Mcdonald to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Peruzzi manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Mcdonald forces his way into half guard.
Mcdonald not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Mcdonald is trying for a kimura here. Peruzzi looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Mcdonald wins by kimura!
