The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximus decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Maximus throwing shots but Aguinaldo is blocking nicely.
Maximus is taking a breather. Aguinaldo says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Brutus Maximus just wasn't active enough.

and Maximus counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Aguinaldo!

Maximus's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Maximus is landing with some decent strikes but Aguinaldo is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Maximus is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Aguinaldo can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Maximus! Aguinaldo is hurt baaadly! Maximus is firing away with more strikes - Aguinaldo is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
