Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Mccaughan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andreas Olsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Olsson has chosen Kenta - Just idag är jag stark as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Olsson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

It looks like Andreas Olsson has been cut. Mccaughan misses with a straight right. Olsson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Mccaughan misses with a combination
and Olsson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Mccaughan lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Olsson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Olsson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Olsson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Mccaughan is trying to defend but Olsson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Mccaughan keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Olsson not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Olsson winds up and cracks Mccaughan with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Olsson thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Olsson stops Mccaughan from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Olsson thows a huge punch but Mccaughan dodges it nicely.

Olsson misses with a head shot. Mccaughan uses the momentum to regain guard. Mccaughan utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Mccaughan wants to stand but Olsson is controlling the position. Olsson controls from within his opponent's guard. Olsson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. It looks like Olsson might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Olsson lands with a right hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Olsson looks to land a left hand but Mccaughan moved out of range nicely. Eric Mccaughan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A slapping body kick lands there for Mccaughan. Olsson dives in and grabs Mccaughan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mccaughan pushes down on Olsson's head and hops out. Decent striking displayed by Mccaughan there. Olsson throws a right hand that misses
and Mccaughan makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Mccaughan misses with a hook. Olsson ducked under it nicely. Mccaughan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mccaughan throws a right and a left that both miss. Mccaughan uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Olsson has time to react. Olsson moves out of range of the strikes. Mccaughan lands with a straight right. Olsson didn't see that one coming. Olsson slips under a jab. Mccaughan swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Olsson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mccaughan won't be happy with that.

The ground and pound from Olsson seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Olsson sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Mccaughan is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Olsson creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Mccaughan sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Olsson misses with the ground and pound.

That was a close second round but I would say that Eric Mccaughan will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Andreas Olsson's cut. That's the end of the interval. Olsson blocks a leg kick. Mccaughan misses with a series of wild punches.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Andreas Olsson wasn't active enough on the ground. Olsson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Olsson closes the distance and clinches up with Mccaughan, looking for a takedown. Olsson pushes Mccaughan against the cage but Mccaughan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Olsson tries to bum rush Mccaughan with a series of wild strikes but Mccaughan uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A shot to the body from Olsson misses and Mccaughan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Mccaughan's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Mccaughan duly obliges. Good exchange - Mccaughan coming out on top. Mccaughan displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Olsson throws out the jab. Mccaughan throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Olsson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. A chopping leg kick lands by Mccaughan. Eric Mccaughan is winning the standup battle so far. Olsson throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Olsson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Mccaughan goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Mccaughan jabbing away but nothing is landing. Olsson takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Mccaughan lands a jab-cross combination. Mccaughan is looking to chop away at Olsson's legs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mccaughan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Olsson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Mccaughan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Olsson. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Olsson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Mccaughan throws a quick inside leg kick. Olsson tries to bum rush Mccaughan with a series of wild strikes but Mccaughan uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Mccaughan scores with a nice strike. Mccaughan misses with a body kick. Mccaughan tries a low kick but Olsson avoids it. A combination from Mccaughan does no damage. Mccaughan throws a nice inside leg kick. Mccaughan ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Olsson blocks a low kick nicely. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mccaughan loads up on a big right hand but Olsson slips the punch. Mccaughan tries to score with a low kick but Olsson moves his leg out of the way. Mccaughan throws a series of punches but Olsson moves out of range. Mccaughan goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
And that's the end of the fight! Eric Mccaughan showed his dominance in that final round. I think Mccaughan has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
