Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Thatcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Mondo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Anthony Thatcher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Nick Mondo!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thatcher throws a series of punches but Mondo avoids them all with ease.
Mondo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Thatcher throws a nice looking combination but Mondo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mondo avoids the head kick by Thatcher.
A combination from Thatcher does no damage.
Thatcher is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mondo.
Thatcher tries to bum rush Mondo with a series of wild strikes but Mondo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Thatcher will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mondo looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Thatcher is not content to let Mondo control the position.
Mondo wants to pass to mount but Thatcher is defending the position.
Thatcher tries to roll over but Mondo keeps him under control.

Mondo lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Mondo takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Mondo wants to control but Thatcher is keeping him busy.
Mondo trying to mount his opponent but Thatcher defends it.
Thatcher is staying active underneath Mondo, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Mondo tries to clinch there but Thatcher circles away.
No joy there for Thatcher, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Thatcher is breathing heavily.
Mondo closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mondo lands in his opponent's guard.
Thatcher can't keep his opponent in guard - Mondo advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Thatcher is not content to let Mondo control the position.
Mondo takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Thatcher is looking to get back to is feet but Mondo passes into side control.
Mondo laying and praying for a moment but Thatcher takes advantage and regains half guard.
Mondo stalling away here and it's allowed Thatcher to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Thatcher keeping full guard, as Mondo tries to pass.
Thatcher escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mondo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Mondo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Thatcher is proving hard to escape from.
Thatcher looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Thatcher looking for a guillotine here but Mondo defends easily.
Thatcher looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Mondo gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Thatcher throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A punch combination from Thatcher misses.
Mondo fails with the takedown.
Mondo has a takedown stuffed.
Mondo slips a jab and a cross from Thatcher.
Thatcher misses with a two punch combination.
Mondo shoots in and bounces Thatcher off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Thatcher is looking for a triangle but Mondo pushes his legs off easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Nick Mondo will probably get the nod.
That's time! Thatcher's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Thatcher misses with a straight right.
Mondo throws a lazy head kick
and Thatcher cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Thatcher throws a right hand that Mondo ducks under and follows up with a left that Mondo also avoids with ease.
Mondo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Mondo wants to clinch up but Thatcher keeps it at a distance.
Mondo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Mondo shoots and misses
and Thatcher counters with a two punch combo.
Mondo is rocked!
A head kick by Thatcher misses
and Mondo counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Mondo is still in real trouble! Can Thatcher finish him?
Thatcher is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Mondo trying to control the position from guard on top but Thatcher is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mondo postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Mondo seems to have recovered his senses.

Thatcher preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Mondo trying to control but Thatcher is working from the bottom.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Mondo looking to sit in guard and control but Thatcher gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mondo seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Thatcher passes Mondo's left leg - he's now in half guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Thatcher works his way into side control.
Mondo prevents Thatcher from improving position.
Mondo is looking for a sweep.
Thatcher is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mondo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Thatcher goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Mondo rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Thatcher's guard! Nice work there by Mondo!
Thatcher is looking for a triangle but Mondo pushes his legs off easily.

Thatcher is looking for a sweep.
Mondo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mondo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Thatcher tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Mondo presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Thatcher bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Thatcher works over Mondo's head and body with a nice combination.
Thatcher connects with a nice cross there... Mondo is looking wobbly and Thatcher recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Mondo to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Thatcher jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
