Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Donald Grub and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from bob.
bob closes this distance looking for a takedown but Device circles away.

so Device counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

and bob counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by bob.
Device manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. bob manages to get himself to full guard.
Device must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting bob here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up. mike bob wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Device tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. bob manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Device throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by bob.
Device instigates a clinch.
Device pushes bob back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Device breaks from the clinch.
Device shoots in for a takedown but bob shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Device fails with a takedown attempt.
Device tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and bob decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Device's guard.
bob stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Device swivels though and keeps the full guard.
bob will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
bob would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
