Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Victor Creed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eli Takesian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Creed's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, That's A Sabretooth. Takesian has chosen United States Marine Corps Hymn as his entrance music. Eli Takesian will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takesian throws a solid leg kick but Creed takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Takesian.
Takesian throws a series of punches but Creed moves out of range.

and Creed counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Takesian tries to kick Creed off but Creed keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Takesian is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Takesian tries to close the distance and clinch up but Creed swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Takesian tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Creed is able to avoid easily.
Eli Takesian is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Creed showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Takesian.
Creed changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Takesian tries to avoid it but Creed manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Takesian to the ground. Takesian escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Takesian throws a head kick but Creed moves out of range.

Takesian lands with a cross.
Horrible takedown by Creed or perhaps it was just good defense by Takesian which made him look bad.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Creed misses with a takedown attempt - Takesian sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eli Takesian dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Takesian fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Creed manages to avoid it.

Takesian has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Creed off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Takesian has hold of Creed's hands but Creed slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Takesian makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Creed takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

and Creed counters with a nice double leg into side control. Takesian won't be happy with that.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Creed connects with a nice short shot to Takesian's temple.

Creed is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Takesian defends it well.
