Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mateo Velez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Esmael Alabdullah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alabdullah is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Price Tag. Alabdullah has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alabdullah throws a head kick that misses.
Mateo Velez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alabdullah dives in and grabs Velez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Velez pushes down on Alabdullah's head and hops out.
Alabdullah moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Nice jab there from Velez.
Alabdullah looks gassed!
Alabdullah throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Velez's waist but Velez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Alabdullah off to one side.
Velez connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Velez is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Velez shuts the power down on Alabdullah. Lights out, game over! Velez is your winner.
