Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rock Memphis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Lehew!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Memphis displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lehew.
Some wild striking there from Memphis.
Memphis lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Lehew backs up against the cage.
Lehew has a takedown stuffed.
Lehew shoots in for a double leg but Memphis sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Rock Memphis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Lehew.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Memphis keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ryan Lehew seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lehew gets the takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lehew wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Memphis, who protects the arm well.

I looks like Lehew might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Lehew working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Memphis thows a body shot but no joy.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lehew.
Lehew fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Lehew shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Lehew is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Lehew won't allow Memphis to get back to his feet.

Lehew is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Lehew wants to control from the top but Memphis keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lehew is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ryan Lehew hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lehew is defended easily by Memphis.
Rock Memphis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Lehew.

Lehew looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Ryan Lehew showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
