Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Black Caesar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demitri Starr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Demitri Starr was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Demitri Starr!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caesar looks to land a right hand but Starr moved out of range.
Starr gets caught flat footed, as Caesar shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Starr can do anything to dispel that myth.
Caesar trying to control but Starr is working from the bottom.
Starr wants to sweep here but Caesar controlling him for the moment.
Caesar sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Starr really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Caesar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Caesar wants to control from the top but Starr keeps moving.
Starr is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Starr wants to sweep here but Caesar controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Starr thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Caesar's head.
Starr is taking a breather. Caesar says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Caesar looks like he's trying to stand up.
Caesar is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Starr pulls his head out easily.
Caesar wants to get back to his feet.
Starr content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Starr's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Starr seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Starr drives through and clinches with Caesar against the cage.
Starr goes for a takedown attempt but Caesar pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Starr bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Caesar is trying to improve his position.
Starr is putting a hurting on Caesar here, landing some big shots from side control.

Caesar is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Starr off and has taken his back!
Starr wants to control his opponent's hands but Caesar gets his hands free.
Starr is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Caesar is staying active.
Starr rolls, trying to escape but Caesar keeps control of the position.
Starr looking very determined here, making life difficult for Caesar.
Starr really must keep his cool here. He's controlling one of Caesar's hands and whilst he does that, he's got a chance of escaping the position.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

and Caesar holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Caesar is pressed up against the cage. Starr has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Caesar down to the mat. Caesar avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Caesar clinches but Starr breaks the clinch
and Starr counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Caesar is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Caesar throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Caesar is tying to control. Starr wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Starr keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Starr is looking for a sweep. Caesar is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Well, if Caesar is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Caesar wants to take a breather but Starr is having none of it.

Caesar wants to free his trapped foot but Starr is holding on for dear life with his legs.

and Caesar counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Black Caesar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Demitri Starr.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Starr fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Caesar tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Caesar is fighting off a takedown attempt but Starr is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Caesar to the mat. Caesar regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Starr controls from within his opponent's guard.
Let's hope that Starr has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Demitri Starr showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Starr rushes Caesar and presses him up against the cage.
Caesar gets underhooks to prevent Starr's takedown attempt.
Caesar wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Starr wants a takedown but no success here.

Starr takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Caesar distracts Starr with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Caesar cracks Starr with a big right hand but Starr just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Caesar decides to stand up, so the ref orders Starr to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Caesar misses with the combination.
Caesar is looking to slow Starr down with leg kicks.

and Starr counters with a nice double leg into side control. Caesar won't be happy with that.
Starr lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Starr tries to advance to mount but can't.

Caesar gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Caesar moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Caesar had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Starr is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Caesar Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Starr's back instead.
Starr prevents Caesar from getting a body triangle.
Black Caesar has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Caesar is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Starr has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Starr avoids the strikes from Caesar.

Caesar has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Starr has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Starr breaks Caesar's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Starr is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Caesar has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Starr is looking to defend but Caesar has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Starr! Caesar pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Starr taps out and this one is all over!
