Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Funku Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz de Vivar throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Gracie just misses with a punch to the body.
Diaz de Vivar leaves Gracie with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Diaz de Vivar takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Gracie misses with a wild body shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Gracie. Diaz de Vivar does a little dance to reset his feet.
Gracie pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Diaz de Vivar back to the cage. Gracie follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Diaz de Vivar throws a half hearted mid kick.
Diaz de Vivar keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gracie takes a swing at Diaz de Vivar's ribcage but misses.
Gracie misses with a combination
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Gracie connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Diaz de Vivar's hands.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gracie is defended easily by Diaz de Vivar.

Gracie misses with a series of wild punches.
Gracie dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Diaz de Vivar throws a right hand that Gracie ducks under and follows up with a left that Gracie also avoids with ease.
Gracie throws a combination that misses
and Diaz de Vivar counters with a head kick that drops Gracie to the mat! Gracie scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Gracie misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Diaz de Vivar scores with a counter punch that sends Gracie to the canvas! Diaz de Vivar smells blood - he's punishing Gracie with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Gracie has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
