PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jjared Hhart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kayvin Glenn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hhart comes into the arena with let bodies hit floor blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glenn shoots in looking for a takedown but Hhart manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Glenn's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Glenn tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hhart paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hhart will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hhart really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Glenn fails with an attempt to clinch.
Glenn moves in looking to clinch but Hhart pushes him off.
Glenn misses with a takedown attempt - Hhart sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Hhart keeps the fight on the outside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Glenn looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Oooooh!!! Hhart has knocked Glenn down with a huge combo! Hhart steps away and waves a wobbly Glenn back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Kayvin Glenn has been cut.

Horrible takedown by Glenn or perhaps it was just good defense by Hhart which made him look bad.
Jjared Hhart has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kayvin Glenn.
Glenn tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hhart manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Glenn fails with the takedown.

Glenn misses with a head kick.
Glenn is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hhart sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hhart throws a series of punches but Glenn avoids them all with ease.

Glenn shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hhart's guard.
Glenn looks gassed!

Glenn is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Glenn slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Glenn passes Hhart's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Glenn has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
A nice elbow there by Glenn.
Glenn looking to ground and pound but Hhart is blocking nicely.
Glenn throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Hhart because Glenn loaded up on that one.
Glenn sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hhart is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jjared Hhart will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Kayvin Glenn's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Hhart blocks a head kick by Glenn.
Glenn shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Glenn throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hhart's waist but Hhart gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Glenn off to one side.
Glenn throws a left and a right that both miss
and Hhart counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

and Hhart counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops Glenn! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Hhart!
