Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frenchy LeBatts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tanchanok Prasoetram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Prasoetram is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Way I Feel. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Frenchy LeBatts! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tanchanok Prasoetram! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Prasoetram wants to clinch enabling LeBatts to counter with a crisp jab. Prasoetram closes the distance but LeBatts moves to the side and LeBatts cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Prasoetram closes the distance and clinches up with LeBatts, looking for a takedown. Prasoetram pushes LeBatts against the cage but LeBatts circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Prasoetram doesn't manage to clinch there - LeBatts circles away.
Prasoetram takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Prasoetram takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Prasoetram tries to clinch up and LeBatts counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Prasoetram doesn't succeed with the takedown and LeBatts counters with a left to the body. Prasoetram shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as LeBatts sprawls well. LeBatts wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Prasoetram gets slowly back to his feet. Frenchy LeBatts has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tanchanok Prasoetram. Prasoetram darts in trying to clinch and LeBatts cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's one minute gone in the round. Prasoetram gets the takedown into side control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. LeBatts regains half guard. Prasoetram missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Prasoetram is working for an americana but LeBatts has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Prasoetram was thinking about the submission. LeBatts is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Prasoetram is controlling him. LeBatts trying to keep a closed guard but Prasoetram is proving a slippery customer.
LeBatts has control of Prasoetram's left arm, preventing Prasoetram from doing any damage. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Prasoetram accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Prasoetram is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! LeBatts is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! LeBatts has escaped and now he's on top! LeBatts trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Prasoetram had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. LeBatts defends it easily. Prasoetram is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. LeBatts sitting in guard, not really doing much. Prasoetram has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Prasoetram looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Prasoetram is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. LeBatts has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. LeBatts wants to control from the top but Prasoetram keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Frenchy LeBatts. LeBatts pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Prasoetram looks to clinch enabling LeBatts to counter with a crisp jab. Prasoetram wants to clinch and LeBatts makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Prasoetram tries to clinch there but LeBatts circles away.
Prasoetram scores with a push kick. Prasoetram wants to clinch up but LeBatts keeps it at a distance. Tanchanok Prasoetram seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Prasoetram scores a takedown into full mount! LeBatts is breathing heavily. Prasoetram jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but LeBatts manages to avoid the submission attempt. LeBatts wants to control but Prasoetram postures up. Prasoetram is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, LeBatts has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Prasoetram cracks LeBatts with a big right hand but LeBatts just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Prasoetram has hold of LeBatts's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! LeBatts tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Prasoetram cranks the arm and LeBatts screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from LeBatts, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Tanchanok Prasoetram! Tanchanok Prasoetram is the new middleweight champion!
