Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pein Ryusaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Pein Ryusaki has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pein Ryusaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jason Miller!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryusaki tries to land a front kick but Miller steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Miller moves out of range as Ryusaki strikes.
Jab by Ryusaki.
Ryusaki lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Miller circles away quickly and effectively.
Sloppy strikes from Ryusaki. Those never looked like landing.

Miller looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Miller trying to control but Ryusaki is working from the bottom.
Miller is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Ryusaki is looking to stand up but Miller isn't so interested in that idea.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Miller drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Miller jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Ryusaki is working an open guard so Miller takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Miller shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ryusaki is trying to defend but Miller finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Miller throwing shots but Ryusaki is blocking nicely.

Miller is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Ryusaki has managed to free his arm - good work.
Miller is taking a breather. Ryusaki says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Miller trying to control from half guard but Ryusaki is working away.
Miller prevents Ryusaki from standing back up.
Miller controlling the action here.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Miller scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Ryusaki is trying to stand up here but Miller is controlling him well.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Miller works his way into side control.

Miller wants to control but Ryusaki is keeping him busy.
Miller cracks Ryusaki with a big right hand but Ryusaki just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Miller sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Ryusaki is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Miller in side control lands a decent elbow.
Ryusaki dodges the ground and pound from Miller.
Ryusaki is trying to buck Miller off.

Miller tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Miller has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ryusaki wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Miller is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ryusaki has escaped the position, nice work there.
Miller trying to control the position but Ryusaki is working away.
Miller is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Ryusaki will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jason Miller dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Miller has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Ryusaki.

Miller takes the fight into the clinch.

Miller pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Pein Ryusaki is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Danga de danga de dang - Ryusaki scores with a four punch combination!


It looks like Jason Miller has been cut.
Ryusaki throws a nice outside leg kick.
Miller throws a sloppy head kick and Ryusaki moves out of range easily.
Ryusaki misses the shot to the body.
Ryusaki throws a combination that misses

and Miller counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Miller escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Miller slips under a jab.
Ryusaki fails to land with a series of punches.
Miller tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ryusaki sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Miller somewhat.
Miller is breathing heavily.
Ryusaki misses with a double jab.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ryusaki throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Good shot there by Ryusaki.
Pein Ryusaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice body kick there by Ryusaki.
Ryusaki looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ryusaki throws a right hand that Miller ducks under and follows up with a left that Miller also avoids with ease.

Ryusaki lands a big head kick that sends Miller tumbling to the mat! Ryusaki takes a step backwards and waves Miller back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Miller is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

A head kick by Ryusaki - that's a beauty! Miller is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Ryusaki can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Pein Ryusaki!
