The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Chad Campbell and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith instigates a clinch.
Smith manages to pull guard.
Smith has his feet on Jackson's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Smith closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Smith decides to stand back up. Smith steps back and let's Jackson get back to his feet.
Smith cracks Jackson with an uppercut from hell and Jackson crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Smith's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close round but I would say that Kenny Smith will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Smith shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jackson pinned against the cage. Jackson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Smith looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jackson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
