Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wanderlei Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and thiago Pedace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Pedace or perhaps it was just good defense by Silva which made him look bad.
Pedace keeps the fight on the outside.
Silva tries to clinch but Pedace is having none of it.
Silva will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Silva throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Silva darts in trying to clinch
and Pedace counters with a nice double leg into side control. Silva won't be happy with that.
Pedace content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
