Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Wesley Sneijder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sneijder comes to the cage accompanied by Pregador Luo - Bate Pesadão. The key to victory for Wesley Sneijder has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Wesley Sneijder!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Anthony Wright!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sneijder throws a left and a right that both miss
and Wright connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Sneijder finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

enabling Wright to counter with a crisp jab.

Sneijder throws a sloppy head kick and Wright moves out of range easily.
Wright blocks the body kick.
Sneijder finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Wright throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sneijder was covering up waiting for the punch and Wright finishes the takedown easily into guard.

so Wright counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Wright gets to his feet. Sneijder looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

It looks like Wright might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Wright is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Sneijder to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Sneijder shrugs it off.
