Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Motecuhzoma Xocoyotzin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maarten Ramaaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xocoyotzin comes to the cage accompanied by Eminem - Till I Collapse. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Ramaaker.
Xocoyotzin uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ramaaker.
Xocoyotzin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Xocoyotzin lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Ramaaker fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Xocoyotzin tries to clinch but Ramaaker is having none of it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Xocoyotzin creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Ramaaker sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Ramaaker is not content to let Xocoyotzin control the position.
Ramaaker tries to buck Xocoyotzin off but Xocoyotzin is having none of it.

Xocoyotzin has closed the distance and engaged Ramaaker in a clinch.

Xocoyotzin is trying to drag Ramaaker to the mat but Ramaaker just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Ramaaker gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Xocoyotzin to score an easy takedown into full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Xocoyotzin is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ramaaker's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ramaaker's back!

I really don't envy Ramaaker right now.

Xocoyotzin is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Ramaaker knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Ramaaker for a finish.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Can Ramaaker hold on?! Xocoyotzin is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
You can see the frustration on Ramaaker's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ramaaker has left one of his arms exposed and Xocoyotzin doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Ramaaker screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
