The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rios swinging wildly here.
Ciskovic throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Rios finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Rios throws a head kick that Ciskovic semi-blocks.

It looks like Ishuryn Ciskovic has been cut.
Ciskovic shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rios pinned against the cage. Rios gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ciskovic takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Rios bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Ciskovic looks gassed!

Rios fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ciskovic, pushing him back against the ropes.
The referee calls for Rios to work.
Rios stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
A right handed body shot lands from Rios.
Rios lands a right hand that snaps the head of Ciskovic backwards.

That has opened up Ishuryn Ciskovic's cut even more.

Rios digs a right hand into Ciskovic's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Ciskovic's gas tank.

Rios dips a shoulder and cracks Ciskovic with a mighty uppercut! Ciskovic falls back against the ropes and Rios unloads with a barrage of strikes! Ciskovic is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the ropes! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Rios screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
