The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Depool moves into the clinch.
Dez wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Dez goes for a takedown attempt but Depool pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Dez shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Depool counters with a shoot takedown. Dez fights it but they end up in guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Depool swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Dez is now in Depool's guard. A big mistake from Depool there, giving up the dominant position!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
