The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Igor Prikhodko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunter scores with a takedown into Raith's guard.

and Raith counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Raith.
Raith is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Hunter gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Raith has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Hunter regains guard immediately.
Raith drops back looking for a leg! Hunter is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hunter manages to kick Raith off! Raith jumps back into Hunter's guard.

Raith wants to control from the top but Hunter keeps moving.
Hunter has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Thomas Raith is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Hunter enables Raith to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hunter manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Raith closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Hunter tries a head kick but it misses.
Raith shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hunter as he jumps to the side.
Hunter feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hunter is in close to Raith's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Hunter drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Raith manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hunter has Raith in his guard.

Raith is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Hunter is trying to stand.
Hunter kicks Raith off and gets back to his feet.
Hunter swats away the attempt to clinch by Raith.

and Raith counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hunter won't be happy with that.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Raith shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Hunter tries to lock up and control but Raith gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Raith can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hunter is looking to escape.

Hunter is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Raith is staying active.
Hunter might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Raith kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Raith has his arm under Hunter's chin here. Game over son! Raith squeezes tightly and Hunter is forced to tap out!
