The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Morrison wants to get up but he can't break Patrone's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Morrison is breathing heavily.

Morrison gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Patrone tries to close the distance and clinch but Morrison swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Patrone throws a left that rocks Morrison and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Patrone dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Morrison regain composure!

Morrison regains half guard, as Patrone was trying to land strikes.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Patrone throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Patrone is working for a kimura but Morrison is defending it quite comfortably.
Morrison has hold of Patrone's hands but Patrone slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Patrone is taking a breather. Morrison says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
