The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight forces Marcolini back against the cage and clinches.
Marcolini has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Knight wants to stand but Marcolini is controlling his posture from full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Marcolini is on top in guard.
Marcolini wants to pass the guard but Knight is keeping the position.

Marcolini cracks Knight with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

No joy there for Marcolini, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Marcolini counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Marcolini is breathing heavily.
Marcolini moves into full mount! Knight won't be happy about that!
Marcolini sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Marcolini wants to control the pace but Knight is squirming around nicely.
Marcolini throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Marcolini throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Knight because Marcolini loaded up on that one.
Marcolini trying to control but Knight is having none of it.
Knight bucks up and throws Marcolini to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Knight throws a nice outside leg kick.

Knight throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Marcolini takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Knight closes the distance but Marcolini moves to the side
and Marcolini counters with a left to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Marcolini closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Knight quickly recovers to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Knight wants to get back to his feet.

Marcolini looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Knight sneaks out the side door and pushes Marcolini away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Marcolini is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Knight is defending well for now.
