Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Krispin Karriker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daiki Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karriker comes to the ring accompanied by On Your Knees. Krispin Karriker had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nakamura thows a leg kick but Karriker checks it and Karriker counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Karriker throws a combination that misses and Nakamura counters with a nice double leg into side control. Karriker won't be happy with that. Nakamura tries for a kimura but Karriker is defending well. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Karriker is trying to escape the position but Nakamura is controlling the position. Nakamura looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Karriker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nakamura on the ground. Karriker prevents Nakamura from improving position. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Nakamura gets to mount! Karriker was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Karriker tries to hold on but Nakamura postures up. Nakamura looking to secure an arm triangle but Karriker defends it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Karriker is trying to get to the ropes to help him get back to his feet.
Karriker on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Karriker tries to get out of the position. Nakamura sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Karriker tries to hold on but Nakamura postures up. Nakamura working away from the top, dropping strikes. Nakamura has hold of Karriker's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Karriker manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Nakamura is looking to work his way around to Karriker's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position. Karriker is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Nakamura has taken his back! Nakamura biding his time, looking for the opening.
