Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ragnar Danneskjold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karate Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Danneskjold's entrance music is Dragonforce - Operation Ground and Pound. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Kid's choice of entrance music: You're The Best. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kid darts in trying to clinch
and Danneskjold counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Karate Kid has been cut.
Danneskjold rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kid counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Danneskjold is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Kid takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Kid avoids a punch combination nicely.
Danneskjold misses with a double jab
and Kid holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Kid tries a knee to the head but Danneskjold blocks it.
A frustrated look appears on Danneskjold's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Danneskjold is struggling to control the position.
Kid takes a shot to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kid tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Kid connects with a knee to the head.
It looks like Ragnar Danneskjold has been cut.
Danneskjold pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kid closes the distance but Danneskjold moves to the side
and Danneskjold counters with a low kick, right behind Kid 's knee.
Danneskjold misses with a double jab
and Kid cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Danneskjold misses with a two punch combination.
Kid fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Danneskjold checks it well.
Danneskjold changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kid tries to avoid it but Danneskjold manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kid to the ground. Kid escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A bone on bone clash there as Kid blocks the leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Danneskjold lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Karate Kid is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kid tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Danneskjold counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Danneskjold misses with a double jab.
Kid looks to clinch
and Danneskjold counters with a nice body shot.
Danneskjold will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Danneskjold connects with a right that clearly hurt Kid. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Danneskjold proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Kid collapses and taps out under the pressure!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ragnar Danneskjold!
