Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Valery Vanchugov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yushin Okami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vanchugov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Okami moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Okami leaves Vanchugov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Vanchugov shoots for a double leg takedown but Okami sprawls well. He's pushed Vanchugov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Okami throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Vanchugov crashing down! Vanchugov tries to stagger back to his feet but Okami just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Vanchugov asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
