The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Andrei fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Juice sprawls well initially but Andrei persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Juice desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Juice's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Andrei throws a strike but Juice avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Andrei trying to control the position from guard on top but Juice is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Juice is adopting a defensive guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Juice clinches with his opponent.

Andrei gets underhooks to prevent Juice's takedown attempt.
Juice tries for a takedown but Andrei manages to get underhooks.
Andrei wants to get back to striking at distance but Juice won't allow it.
Andrei goes for a takedown in the clinch but Juice prevents it.
Juice lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Andrei manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Juice not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Juice has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Andrei is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Juice yanks on the arm and Andrei is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Juice.
