Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kenji Mousaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Winston Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mousaki comes to the cage accompanied by souljacker. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Winston Steel enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kenji Mousaki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Winston Steel! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steel throws a series of punches but Mousaki moves out of range. Mousaki scores a takedown into full mount! Mousaki misses with a head shot. Mousaki landing punches. Mousaki has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Mousaki can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Steel is looking to escape. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mousaki unloading with bombs! Mousaki is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Steel is surviving well by controlling Mousaki's body position as best he can. Mousaki throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Steel because Mousaki loaded up on that one.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mousaki swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Steel is now in Mousaki's guard. A big mistake from Mousaki there, giving up the dominant position! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mousaki is looking for a triangle but Steel pushes his legs off easily.
Steel advances position into side control! Steel tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Steel has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Steel advances nicely into full mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Steel wants to take Mousaki's back here but Mousaki is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Steel forces the positional change into back control. Steel struggling to land strikes to the head as Mousaki covers up. Mousaki tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Steel thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Mousaki regains half guard. Steel trying to pass the guard but Mousaki defending well.

Steel tries to free his leg and advance position but Mousaki is retaining full guard. Steel is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Steel throws a strike but Mousaki rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Mousaki wants to control from the top but Steel keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Mousaki is really struggling to control Steel but he's trying to hold on to the position. Mousaki looking to pass the guard. Mousaki is looking to advance position but Steel has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Steel lands a big shot there that rocks Mousaki but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Steel throwing strikes but Mousaki bucks up and reverses the position. He's now in guard on top. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kenji Mousaki will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Steel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Steel throws a right and a left that both miss. Steel misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Steel shoots in and gets a takedown into Mousaki's guard. Steel advances to half guard. Steel not landing any meaningful shots this time. Steel prevents Mousaki from improving his position. Steel missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mousaki gets full guard. Mousaki keeping full guard, as Steel tries to pass. Winston Steel has got the better of the ground game so far. Mousaki wants to sweep here but Steel controlling him for the moment. Steel passes easily into side control. Nice work. Steel working the ground and pound but Mousaki is defending the strikes. Steel looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Mousaki is avoiding damage well.

Mousaki throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Steel works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mousaki stands up over Steel, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Mousaki advances to half guard. Mousaki is controlling the pace.

He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Mousaki working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Steel's thigh. Mousaki misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
