Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Shikkuzaru Soma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luisito Luzara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shikkuzaru Soma! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luisito Luzara! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Luzara closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Soma to the mat! Soma manages to get full guard. Luzara postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Soma keeping full guard, as Luzara tries to pass. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Luzara accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Soma preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Luzara drops back, looking for a kneebar! Soma looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Soma looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Soma! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Luzara is looking to regain half guard here but Soma keeps moving and retains side control. Soma in side control, throwing shots but Luzara defends.
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Luzara's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Luzara manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Luzara pushes Soma off and gets back to his feet. Soma misses with a takedown attempt and Luzara counters with a nice double leg into side control. Soma won't be happy with that. Luzara looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Soma is working to avoid the ground and pound but Luzara connects with a decent elbow. Luzara goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Soma rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Luzara's guard! Nice work there by Soma!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Soma thows a big elbow that misses. Luzara working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Soma. Luzara seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Soma will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Luzara keeping full guard, as Soma tries to pass. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Luzara has his hands on Soma's head, controlling the position. Soma lands a couple of elbows. Luzara trying to control the position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Luisito Luzara hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Luzara swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Soma counters with a solid body kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Soma with a lazy takedown attempt and Luzara counters with a nice double leg into guard. Luzara trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Luzara stands up over Soma, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Luzara drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Soma dives on top into guard. Luzara looking to control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Luzara keeping full guard, as Soma tries to pass. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Luzara is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Luisito Luzara wasn't active enough on the ground. Soma shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Luzara pinned against the cage. Luzara gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shikkuzaru Soma. That's going to take a lot out of him. Soma doesn't manage to clinch there - Luzara circles away.
Luzara takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Soma shoots and misses and Luzara counters with a nice double leg into side control. Soma won't be happy with that. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Luzara trying to control the position but Soma is working away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Luisito Luzara dominated that round. That's time! Soma's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Soma tries to clinch up. Luzara drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Soma is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Luzara asserts his dominance and retains side control. Luzara stands up and beckons Soma to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Excellent takedown into side control there by Luzara. Luzara lands some shots froms side control. Luzara fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Luzara is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Soma is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Luzara cracks Soma with a big elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Soma is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Luzara tries to move to mount but Soma blocks the move with his legs. Luzara swings around for an armbar but Soma sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Luzara's guard. Soma stands up over Luzara, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Soma postures up.
Soma stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Luzara swivels though and keeps the full guard. Soma has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Luzara is proving hard to escape from.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Luzara looking to hit a scissor sweep but Soma is one step ahead there. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Soma pushing down on Luzara's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Luzara kicks off Soma and gets to his feet. A head kick by Luzara misses and Soma counters with a takedown into side control. Soma works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Luzara sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Luzara keeping hold of Soma's head, controlling as best he can. Luzara is looking to improve his position.
Soma thows a huge punch but Luzara dodges it nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Luisito Luzara will probably get the nod - 10:9. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

The ground and pound from Luzara seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Soma wants to get back to his feet but Luzara drags him back down. Shikkuzaru Soma has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Luisito Luzara is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Luzara is looking to take a break and control but Soma is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Luisito Luzara comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Luzara winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
