Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Shikkuzaru Soma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luisito Luzara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luzara closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Soma to the mat! Soma manages to get full guard.
Luzara postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Luzara accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Luzara drops back, looking for a kneebar! Soma looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Soma looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Soma!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Luzara is looking to regain half guard here but Soma keeps moving and retains side control.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Soma shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Luzara pinned against the cage. Luzara gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Soma is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Luzara asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Luzara tries to move to mount but Soma blocks the move with his legs.
Luzara swings around for an armbar but Soma sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Luzara's guard.
Soma stands up over Luzara, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Soma stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Luzara swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Soma has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Luzara is proving hard to escape from.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Luzara looking to hit a scissor sweep but Soma is one step ahead there.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
