Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andrei Kalashnikov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nikolai Kovalenko!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Dmitry Maklakov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Kovalenko misses.
Kalashnikov tries to score with a low kick but Kovalenko moves his leg out of the way.
Kalashnikov throws a leg kick but Kovalenko sees it coming and moves out of range.
Kovalenko lands the left hand.
Kovalenko's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kalashnikov under the eye.
It looks like Andrei Kalashnikov has been cut.
Kalashnikov walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kovalenko checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Kalashnikov on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
A jab lands there for Kovalenko.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kovalenko blocks the body kick.
Kalashnikov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kalashnikov takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Kalashnikov walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Kovalenko lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Kalashnikov can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Kovalenko and Kalashnikov drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Kovalenko.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nikolai Kovalenko!
